Let’s see, yesterday I learned all about IRAs, and fixed my direct deposit stuff, and in general spent way too much time at the bank. The investment guy probably thought I was a dumb girl based on how very little I know about my financial affairs. Really, it’s not that I can’t understand it – after all, I have a degree in math – it’s just that I can’t think of anything more dull or boring than worrying about money. I just want to know that I can keep food on the table (or in the takeout boxes, usually), add yarn to my stash, and buy toys for Molly. If 30+ years down the line I realize I picked the wrong fund for my IRA, and I don’t have enough money to retire, I’ll just go work at Michaels. ;)
Girl have I got the site for you. http://www.fool.com
It’s got everything you ever wanted to know about any type of investing. It’s my favorite website and what got me so interested in investing. I also recommend http://www.chickslayingnesteggs.com
as well as the Suze Orman show on MSNBC on the weekend.
