I got to the gym again this morning! (How many days in a row do you have to do something before it becomes a habit?)
One of the really nice things about working here is that I’m not in a cube. I’m sitting next to a huge window with tons of lovely natural light. And it’s sunny today!
I haven’t knitted in days, and it’s driving me crazy. I have to get some knitting in tonight. I started the pacific northwest shawl, and I still have my sweater sleeves to finish.
Hi Sarah!
I would like to learn how to knit. Do you happen to know what books or tapes might help me, or web sites even? I want to learn to make a sweater, but I suppose starting with a scarf is probably the best route :-)
Thanks for any help!
BTW, I hope your job is going well. I’m sure the people of Kodak miss you very much! I still miss the people, and I’ve been gone for a while now.
Natalie, I sent you an email with ideas for references.
My job is going well – and I’m sure it will be a long time before I don’t miss the people at Kodak. Fortunately, it’s not as though I’ve left the area, so I can still get together with people…it’s just not the same as seeing them every day!
According the psych & soc courses I’ve taken, it takes approximately 6 months of doing a task everyday to form a habit.
