Lisa taught a course on gum paste flowers last night. I had such fun making the flowers for my grandparents’ cake that I decided to take the class.

There were also daffodils and tulips, but those never managed to get on stems. I have to say I really enjoy making flowers from gum paste. It’s like working with playdough, but with much more realistic results.
